Klas Tikkanen

Joined in July 2011 as CFO. He served as COO from Jan 2019 until Jan 2026 and is today Chairman of Corporate Affairs. During his time at Nordic Capital Advisors, Klas has played a formative role in building the firm, including the development of its strategy, governance, culture, and operations.

Klas' previous experience includes six years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, followed by two decades in senior management functions, mostly as a CFO in private equity or bank owned portfolio companies. Having throughout his pre-Nordic Capital career worked almost exclusively with turnarounds and complex carve-outs, Klas brought extensive experience from transforming and building high performing organisations. Klas holds an MSc in Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, with an international exchange programme major in Finance from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
