Over the past seven years, Shelley has worked with Nordic Capital across multiple portfolio companies. "One thing that really impresses me is that they understand the market. They are not generalists. They have been absolutely essential in some of the decisions around my strategy; how we develop the product, how we tell the story to the market, and how we price to the market," Shelley says.

Beyond formal governance through Board and committee work, she points to the value of close collaboration with the Chair and access to an operational team she can call on as needed.
