Nordic Capital is pleased to announce that Mark Stubbs, Managing Director at Nordic Capital Advisors, has been named in Private Equity International's "40 Under 40: Future Leaders of Private Equity" list in the Dealmakers category. Now in its eighth year, the list recognises rising leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate strong leadership, innovation and impact across the private equity industry.
Mark is a senior member of Nordic Capital's Healthcare advisory team, where he specialises in the healthtech vertical. Since joining the firm in 2022, he has played a key role in several significant investments and exits, combining strong business judgement with a hands-on approach to value creation in close partnership with management teams.
Most recently, Mark was closely involved in the acquisitions of Arcadia and Surgical Information Systems, two US-based healthcare technology platforms. He was also instrumental in the process leading to the announced exit of Clario to Thermo Fisher Scientific, one of the largest healthcare private equity exits globally in 2025.
In addition to his transaction work, Mark serves on the boards of RLDatix, Surgical Information Systems, Aris Global and Arcadia, supporting management teams in driving operational improvements and long-term growth. He is known for his collaborative approach and commitment to mentoring junior colleagues and supporting portfolio companies.
"We are delighted to see Mark recognised in this year's Future 40 list. Since joining, he has made a strong contribution to Nordic Capital’s healthcare platform, combining deep sector expertise with a highly collaborative approach to partnering with management teams. This recognition reflects both his dedication and the strength of Nordic Capital’s work in the sector," said Daniel Berglund, Partner and Head of Healthcare, Nordic Capital Advisors.
"Healthcare technology represents a compelling convergence of strategic demand and long-term value creation potential, supported by strong partnership opportunities and diverse exit routes. The sector's regulatory foundations act as a powerful moat, enabling the safe and scalable deployment of AI within trusted, mission-critical systems,” Mark commented.
