Nordic Capital is the most consistent top private equity house according to the annual global ranking conducted by HEC Business School and Dow Jones.
Nordic Capital is ranked 4th place in the large buyout sector on the 2012 list and is the only sponsor to have been included among the top 20 private equity houses for four consecutive years.

The HEC-Dow Jones 2012 rankings were published on Nov 5, 2012. These rankings rate which firms generated the best performance for their investors over the past years. The analysis was done by Professor Oliver Gottschalg of HEC Business School in Paris and lists the world's top private equity firms in terms of aggregate performance, based on all funds raised between 1999 and 2008. In total, performance data from 350 private equity firms and the 659 funds they raised between 1999 and 2008 with an aggregate equity volume of USD 1,070 billion was analyzed. The survey has been undertaken annually since 2009 and is one of the most advanced methods ever calculated to measure private equity performance.
