Lena Ulrich, Managing Director, Investor Relations – EMEA, Nordic Capital Advisors, has been named as one of the Future Leaders of Private Equity in the fundraiser category in Private Equity International’s most recent Future 40 list. Lena has played an instrumental role in Nordic Capital’s successful fundraises and established herself as a trusted name in the fundraising business.
For the sixth year running, Private Equity International’s “40 under 40: Future Leaders of Private Equity” list celebrates notable accomplishments and rising stars across five categories: LPs, fundraisers, dealmakers, lawyers, and operators. The names on the list are carefully selected on the basis of leadership skills, innovative approach, the calibre of clients and deals completed, as well as other competences that pave the ground for a bright future in the business.
On the list for 2023, Lena Ulrich, Managing Director, Investor Relations – EMEA, Nordic Capital Advisors, was named in the “Fundraiser” category.
Lena joined Nordic Capital Advisors in 2019 as a Key Relationship Director, responsible for Europe. Just 14 months later, she was promoted to Managing Director, Investor Relations EMEA. Lena was instrumental and made significant contributions to Nordic Capital’s three latest fundraises, including Nordic Capital X (2020), Nordic Capital XI (2022) as well as Evolution I (2021), which was raised in less than three months under Lena’s leadership. She has also successfully co-ordinated some of Nordic Capital’s largest co-investment projects and helped develop the fundraising strategy.
“Lena’s investment background together with her diligent energy and commitment have made her a very respected counterparty to Nordic Capital’s LPs. She is a true team player who always makes time to support her colleagues. She has been responsible for driving a number of important projects. As a team, we’re very proud of this recognition by the industry and congratulate Lena on her inclusion in this prestigious leadership list,” said Pär Norberg, Partner and Head of Investor Relations, Nordic Capital Advisors.
