Nordic Capital is proud to announce that Linus Lund, Investment Controller at NC Advisory AB, advisor to the Nordic Capital Funds, was qualified as one of 16 finalists in the world's largest financial modelling annual competition for top modelers, and finished in a remarkable fifth place in the ModelOff World Finals held on December 7 in New York.
Over 3,000 competitors, professionals as well as students, from 110 countries and more than 800 companies undertook two online qualification rounds before the top 16 finalist progressed to the live finals event.
"Linus has during his two years at NC Advisory shown an exceptional skill for modelling and Microsoft Excel and he has added great value to the team. Linus Lund, 32, joined NC Advisory in early 2012, he holds an an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University. From 2009 to 2012, he worked in the Transaction and Restructuring department at KPMG in Stockholm
