Nordic Capital has successfully rolled-out AI best practices across the portfolio resulting in concrete revenue growth and productivity gains. The collaboration with Anthropic offers further tools to advance the roll-out of responsible AI in the portfolio. The ambition is to bring use cases already proven across the portfolio to more companies and functions, from R&D to procurement, while building lasting AI capabilities within management teams as the technology continues to develop.
Nordic Capital, a leading private equity investor and subsector specialist with EUR 39 billion in assets under management, today announced a collaboration with Anthropic, the AI safety and research company behind Claude.
Nordic Capital has over many years built a strong ecosystem and culture to adopt and roll-out best practices across the portfolio in partnership with portfolio company management teams. The work across the portfolio is led by experienced operating professionals in the Nordic Capital Operations team. Through Nordic Capital AI Operators, a clearly defined programme focused specifically on AI, the team supports portfolio company management teams in identifying, implementing and scaling AI. It combines specialist expertise with peer communities connecting CEOs and functional leaders across the portfolio, including more than 100 technology and product leaders. Nordic Capital has identified and estimated significant potential for AI to contribute to further growth and profitability across the portfolio.
Through the collaboration, portfolio companies gain access to Anthropic's expertise and enablement programme, including live workshops and learning through Claude Academy. The collaboration is designed to help management teams apply AI where it can have the greatest impact, while sharing successful approaches across the portfolio and building capabilities that evolve with the technology. Beyond financial performance, the ambition is to safely build lasting AI capabilities and create benefits for employees and customers as the technology continues to develop
“The powerful ecosystem of knowledge sharing between management teams has seen great success in cross-fertilising AI wins across the portfolio. Nordic Capital AI Operators is built around that exchange, and the collaboration with Anthropic adds direct access to Claude and the expertise behind it, helping successful applications reach more companies and functions faster,” said Fredrik Näslund, Partner and Head of Technology & Payments, Nordic Capital Advisors.
Across Nordic Capital's portfolio, companies are already translating AI into practical applications and measurable results. At Arcadia, a leading healthcare data platform, Claude-powered agents have cut the time to bring a new customer data connection live by 90 percent. Arcadia’s deployment runs within Anthropic’s enterprise safety and governance controls, which are designed for organisations handling sensitive and regulated data. Arcadia's data-health team now clears 67 percent more tickets a week than at the start of 2026, and engineering is shipping features at two to three times its 2025 rate.
Elsewhere in the portfolio, Duco, a leader in no-code data automation, is rebuilding how its teams operate internally with Claude, with more than 16,000 hours of work expected to be saved in the first year alone. Sambla Group, a Nordic online brokerage service, has taken a company-wide approach to AI adoption. Within ten months, the company trained all employees in AI, while weekly use of Claude among developers increased from 5 percent to 100 percent and a vast majority of employees report efficiency gains.
“Nordic Capital’s portfolio companies are already putting agentic AI to work in critical workflows. With Claude, they get frontier capabilities built to high safety standards. We’re excited to work with Nordic Capital to help bring those results to more companies and functions across the portfolio,” said Guillaume Princen, Head of International, Startups and Digital Native, at Anthropic, commented.
