Nordic Capital considers diversity to be a key contributor to business performance.

A diverse workforce provides a range of skills and resources that are highly valuable in building strong, sustainable businesses. It makes for improved productivity, economic growth, increased organisational performance, and an enhanced ability to attract and retain talent.

We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or disability and are fully committed to meritocracy.

Our goal is that the boards, management teams and employees of our portfolio companies will reflect true diversity.

Many portfolio companies have initiated recruitment, networking, sponsorship and training programmes that are specifically targeted at achieving higher levels of gender diversity.

Gender diversity within Nordic Capital

Currently 37% of our employees are female. Many of our business partners including investors and portfolio company representatives are also female.

Gender diversity in the investment portfolio

At our portfolio companies, females currently account for almost 60% of the workforce and 15% of board members, including Nordic Capital representatives (as at end of 2016).
