Munters Group strengthens its position within climate
control solutions for the food production industry by acquiring
MTech Systems, combining data analytics expertise with
state-of-the-art technology.
Munters Group ("Munters"), a global leader in energy efficient
air treatment and climate solutions, today announced the

The acquisition of MTech will transform Munters offering through
the use of advanced data analytics. By combining the expertise and
solutions of the two companies, Munters will now be able to provide
full control of the supply chain for poultry and swine production.
Within the agricultural (AgHort) business area of Munters, the

plants to ensure optimum performance. For over 30 years, MTech has
been constantly improving data management and planning in the
production and processing industry through its innovative software.
Combining state-of-the-art environmental controls with superior
data-collection and analytics will provide new and improved
opportunities to maximize the value chain for integrators,
distributors and farmers around the world.
"Munters is heavily involved in ensuring that people get
food on the table, by controlling the climate in installations all
around the world. Combining Munters' climate control systems on
farms and in factories with MTech's planning and optimization
software will bring a new level of intelligence and increase the
ability to connect all parts of the supply-chain for poultry and
swine production", says Peter Gisel-Ekdahl, President Business Area
AgHort.
"As the traditional lines between hardware and software have
begun to disappear, we see Munters as the perfect partner with
which to continue to innovate and adapt on behalf of our clients.
