ConvaTec Announces Acquisition of SureCalm Healthcare

today announced that Amcare Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of
ConvaTec Holdings UK Ltd, has acquired SureCalm Healthcare Holdings
Ltd and subsidiaries ("SureCalm Healthcare"), a UK-based homecare
services group that specialises in the home delivery of
prescribable stoma care and continence devices.
As a well-respected company in the home delivery business,
SureCalm Healthcare is an ideal complement to Amcare, the existing
home delivery service from ConvaTec, which has been serving UK
customers for nearly 20years. The SureCalm Healthcare
group includes three dispensing appliance contractors, trading as
AlphaMed, BCA Direct and Homestyle Positive, operating as
subsidiary companies, and an internet and mail order pharmacy
business. Like Amcare, SureCalm Healthcare is recognised for
its unbiased, reliable and caring service as well as its total
