On June 12, 2017 the European Commission approved the combination of Intrum Justitia and Lindorff. The Commission's decision is conditional upon the divestment of Lindorff's business in Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Sweden as well as Intrum Justitia's business in Norway (see press release dated May 18, 2017 for more information).
The Board of Directors of Intrum Justitia AB has decided that Mikael Ericson will be the CEO and President of the combined company once the transaction is completed. The decision has been made in agreement with the proposed new Board members nominated by the Nomination Committee on June 7, 2017.
Further to the announcement released on 5 June 2017 regarding a proposed placing of shares in ConvaTec Group Plc ("ConvaTec") to institutional investors by way of an accelerated bookbuilding process (the "Placing"), Nordic Capital and Avista (each as defined below) announce that they have elected to increase the size of the Placing due to strong investor demand.
Nordic Capital and Avista (each as defined below) intend to sell approximately 200 million shares in aggregate in ConvaTec Group Plc ("ConvaTec") to institutional investors by way of an accelerated bookbuild (the "Proposed Placing").
