Nordic Capital Fund V acquired Point International AS and EDT AS in 2004, forming the Point Group. The Point Group has grown substantially under Nordic Capital’s ownership, partly through the completion of five add-on acquisitions in Denmark, Finland and Norway during the holding period. The Point Group is the market leader in Sweden, Denmark, Finland Iceland and the Baltic countries and holds the second place in Norway.

The Point Group has grown significantly organically and via add-on acquisitions since the acquisition by Nordic Capital Fund V and is today, the market leader in the Nordic and Baltic area. Significant investment has been made in technical solutions enabling efficient and secure communication with retailers and banks.
