Nefab provides complete packaging solutions for the customer’s entire logistics flow. Nefab’s global presence, combined with a range of analysis methods, design, packaging products and logistics services makes it possible to assists customers in establishing a global standard for packaging. The company has subsidiaries in Europe, North and South America and Asia. Customers are found across a very broad range of industries, but all share the need for a customised packaging solution to reduce overall cost and enhance efficiency.

The company was acquired jointly by Nordic Capital Fund VI and the founding family Nordgren-Pihl in 2007 in a public-to-private transaction. The company is expected to continue to grow organically and through acquisitions.

The company is experiencing strong growth in Asia both from its existing blue chip client base as well as from new customers, and is establishing further local production facilities in China and India to meet the large demand. In 2008, Lars-Åke Rydh assumed the chairman position after 14 years as the company’s CEO and Stefan Ekqvist was appointed new CEO. During 2008, Nefab also made several smaller add-on acquisitions in Europe.
