Fougera - a generic drug division which primarily produces
multi-source prescription and OTC dermatologic preparations.
Fougera has been serving the pharmaceutical industry for over 160
years, entering the generic market in 1966. Fougera's rich U.S.
history of experience and expertise, coupled with its modern
technology and innovation, will lead the way for important new
generic introductions.
Fougera Pharmaceuticals, was a wholly owned subsidiary of
Nycomed, that became an independent corporation following the
acquisition of its parent company by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company
Ltd in September 2011. Foguera Pharmaceuticals will continue to be
owned by the Nordic Capital-lead owner group.
