Joined in July 2012. Joakim has more than 17 years of private equity experience and leads the Nordic Capital Evolution advisory team. In his career he has been engaged in 14 platform investments. Joakim led the Frankfurt office from 2012 to 2023. Prior to Nordic Capital, he started his career with McKinsey in 1994, subsequently founded and was operational CEO of B2B industrial equipment portal Abtrax, was CEO of industrial supplies business Essve and then joined EQT Partners. Joakim holds an MSc in Finance and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Wharton Business School
